The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, has arraigned social media influencer and self-styled relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.

She was brought before Justice Yelim Bogoro on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, on a fresh six-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and retaining alleged proceeds of crime amounting to N13 million.

According to the EFCC, the charges stem from multiple petitions submitted by individuals and organisations, including the Nigeria Cancer Society. Investigators allege that Blessing CEO solicited donations from members of the public after claiming on social media that she was suffering from Stage 4 breast cancer and required financial assistance for treatment.

The anti-graft agency further alleged that the medical documents presented to support the fundraising campaign were later found to have been falsified.

The case forms part of an ongoing EFCC investigation into the allegations.
