Controversial relationship commentator and social media personality, Blessing CEO, has reacted to her remand at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre following fresh legal proceedings initiated against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The development comes shortly after she was granted bail for ₦10 million over an alleged tenancy fraud case involving ₦69.1 million.

On Wednesday, Blessing CEO was reportedly re-arraigned on separate allegations relating to an alleged ₦13 million fraud case. Following the court proceedings, she was remanded pending the fulfilment of her bail conditions.

Responding through a post on her Instagram page, the social media influencer disclosed that she had spent 26 days in EFCC custody before being transferred to the correctional facility.

She maintained her innocence, stating that she pleaded not guilty to all charges brought against her by the anti-graft agency.

According to her, the case is linked to allegations surrounding a cancer-related fundraising controversy, donations amounting to ₦13 million, and claims that she manipulated medical records.

Despite the legal challenges, Blessing CEO appeared upbeat in her reaction, saying she remained in good spirits while awaiting the perfection of her bail conditions.

She also noted that the current remand marks her second stay at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre. Recalling her previous experience, she said she was detained in 2022 over allegations of defamation and cyberbullying.

In a characteristically light-hearted remark, she joked that her repeated encounters with the prison system might qualify her to run for public office in the future.

The EFCC has yet to provide further details on the latest charges, while legal proceedings in the matter are expected to continue after the bail conditions are met.
