President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his third year in office, commending his administration’s reforms and leadership under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a statement personally signed by him on Friday, Akpabio described Tinubu’s three years in office as marked by “bold reforms, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment” to national development.
The Senate President said the administration’s policies in economic diversification, infrastructure development, security, and social welfare had laid the foundation for sustainable growth and prosperity.
He praised what he called the President’s “courageous leadership,” noting that the administration had embarked on landmark projects and reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for growth.

Among the initiatives highlighted by Akpabio were the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, the Nigerian Student Loan Scheme, the Renewed Hope Housing Programme, the rollout of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses and conversion centres, ongoing tax reforms, and the completion of the OB3 gas pipeline project.
According to him, the administration’s decision to remove fuel subsidy and unify exchange rates demonstrated a commitment to long-term economic stability despite immediate challenges.
“The courage to remove fuel subsidy, unify exchange rates, and drive infrastructure despite global headwinds shows a President committed to long-term prosperity over short-term comfort,” Akpabio stated.
He also reaffirmed the support of the National Assembly for the Tinubu administration, saying the 10th Senate remained committed to passing laws that would sustain ongoing reforms.
“The 10th Senate remains a committed partner in enacting laws that will sustain these gains and secure the future we all desire,” he added.

Akpabio further prayed for wisdom, strength, and good health for the President as he continues to lead the country.
He also wished Tinubu success in completing his tenure and victory in future elections.
