President Bola Tinubu has returned to Lagos following a three-nation diplomatic visit to France, Kenya, and Rwanda aimed at strengthening economic partnerships, bilateral relationships and regional cooperation.

Tinubu arrived on Friday evening at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, where he was received by top government officials, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.

During his stay in France, Tinubu reportedly met with global investors, where he highlighted his administration’s economic reforms, fiscal discipline, and commitment to transparency in governance.

The President also participated in the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, alongside other African leaders, where he called for reforms in the global financial system and greater economic integration across the continent.

Tinubu further emphasised Nigeria’s potential in the blue economy and pledged support in sharing the country’s maritime intelligence infrastructure with willing Gulf of Guinea nations.

In Rwanda, the President attended the Africa CEO Forum, where discussions focused on Africa’s economic transformation through regional integration and cross-border investments.

He also held meetings with Rwandan President Paul Kagame and representatives of multinational organisations and investors to discuss investment opportunities and economic collaboration.

According to the presidency, the engagements recorded positive outcomes, while Tinubu is also expected to participate in the All Progressives Congress primaries scheduled to commence in Lagos.
