Lebanese authorities have officially condemned an Israeli air strike which reportedly destroyed a primary healthcare centre in the southern city of Tyre.
According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, the attack directly targeted the healthcare facility, reducing it to rubble and causing extensive damage to the nearby Hiram Hospital.
The ministry disclosed that at least six members of the hospital’s medical staff sustained injuries during the strike.

Lebanese officials described the attack as part of what they called a continued assault on medical and emergency personnel, accusing Israel of systematically targeting the country’s health sector.
The ministry further stated that such actions violate the Geneva Conventions, which protect medical facilities, hospitals, and healthcare workers during conflicts.
