The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has received a consignment of protective gear donated by Signal 63 Ministries in collaboration with Fundamental Baptist Ministry International, in a move aimed at strengthening the safety and welfare of police personnel.
The donation was formally presented on Tuesday, April 22, 2026, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

Speaking during the presentation, the IGP commended Mr Bill Graham of Signal 63 Ministries, alongside facilitators Rev. and Mrs Philemon Sidi, for their contribution to improving the welfare of officers. He described the gesture as a timely and critical intervention that would enhance the safety and operational confidence of frontline personnel.
“The donation will go a long way in supporting officers who face daily risks in the line of duty,” he said.
Disu reiterated his administration’s commitment to adequately equipping officers with the tools necessary for effective policing, noting that personnel welfare remains central to building a more resilient and professional Nigeria Police Force.

The development underscores ongoing efforts by the police leadership to improve working conditions and operational capacity through partnerships with local and international organisations.
