The Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Akwa Ibom State have intensified efforts to strengthen grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the South-South region.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by leaders of the APC South-South Youth Wing to his office along Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, on Thursday, the State Coordinator of the group, Obong Prince Ikim, said the movement remains committed to deepening public acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda through sustained grassroots engagement.

Prince Ikim, who also heads the Akwa Ibom State Waste Management Agency, described grassroots mobilisation as a vital tool for strengthening party structures and connecting government policies directly with the people. He stressed that unity and collaboration among stakeholders would remain critical to the success of the APC in the region.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to mobilising support for President Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Governor Umo Eno, and other APC candidates, while urging party members to remain focused and united.

The coordinator also charged youths across the South-South to become more politically conscious and productive by embracing education, entrepreneurship, and skill acquisition opportunities.

According to him, young people must contribute positively to the democratic process by promoting peace, unity, and responsible political participation.

Earlier, the APC South-South Youth Leader, Prince Koyoyo Uhrorho, commended Obong Ikim for his leadership and grassroots mobilisation efforts, describing the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as a growing force within the party structure in the region.

He noted that the youth wing looks forward to stronger collaboration with the group as the APC continues efforts to consolidate support across the South-South.

Prince Uhrorho also commended Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno for maintaining a strong working relationship, noting that such cooperation would not only strengthen Akwa Ibom State but also create sustainable political and developmental impact across the South-South region.
