A mild drama has unfolded in the Senate as Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan openly confronted Senator Osita Ngwu over what she described as the deletion of her comments from an official Senate WhatsApp group.
The disagreement, which spilled into the public domain on Sunday, has stirred conversations within political circles, as both lawmakers belong to the same ruling party.
Senator Natasha accused Ngwu of deliberately removing her remarks during a heated discussion on the group, insisting that such action was disrespectful and contrary to the spirit of transparency expected among lawmakers. She warned that if her comments were not restored, she would not hesitate to bring the entire conversation before the public.
The confrontation, which was initially a private digital exchange among lawmakers, became public after Senator Natasha took to her official communication channels to express her displeasure. Her remarks quickly attracted widespread attention, with citizens and political analysts weighing in on the unusual public exchange.

Although Senator Ngwu has not issued a formal response to the allegations, close legislative sources say the incident has caused discomfort among some senators who fear it may reflect deeper communication issues within the red chamber.

The clash underscores the increasing tension over communication management within the National Assembly, especially as senators navigate sensitive national issues and intra party expectations.
More updates are expected as the situation develops.
