The Sector Commander, Andre Longkam, disclosed the incident on Sunday in Kaduna, stating that the crash occurred at about 1:45 p.m. at the Federal Eye Centre Junction.

According to him, the accident involved a DAF truck, a Honda car, and a motorcycle. Preliminary findings indicate that the Honda vehicle collided with the motorcycle, leading to the death of the rider and a passenger.
“Two people lost their lives in the crash,” Longkam said.
He added that shortly after the incident, some irate youths set the affected vehicles ablaze, resulting in further damage.
The FRSC commander noted that personnel of the corps, in collaboration with the Nigeria Police, responded promptly to the scene to manage the situation and restore normalcy.
He said traffic control measures were immediately implemented to ensure the free flow of vehicles and to prevent additional incidents.
Longkam expressed concern over the crash and urged motorists to exercise caution, particularly on roads under construction. He also advised drivers to adhere strictly to traffic regulations and avoid actions that could escalate emergencies.
