Barcelona secured a 5-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga on Monday, with Raphinha and Lamine Yamal scoring twice each to lead the Catalan side to another impressive attacking display.
Rayo stunned the hosts by taking an early lead through Sergio Camello, but Barcelona responded quickly as Raphinha levelled the score before Yamal struck to put the home side ahead before halftime.
Barcelona extended their advantage after the break when a Florian Lejeune own goal made it 3-1, although Camello scored again to give Rayo hope. Raphinha restored the two-goal cushion with his second goal of the night before Yamal completed the scoring late in the match.
The result maintained Barcelona’s strong start to the LaLiga campaign, with the team producing another dominant attacking performance under manager Hansi Flick.
Yamal’s performance was a major highlight, as the teenage forward continued his impressive form, while Raphinha once again proved decisive in front of goal.
