President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, to participate in the 13th edition of the Africa CEO Forum scheduled to commence on Thursday.

The President was received at the Presidential Wing of the Kigali International Airport by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, alongside Rwanda’s Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda.

Also on hand to receive the President were the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole; Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed; Nigeria’s Chargé d’Affaires in Rwanda, Ambassador Ibrahim Zanna; and the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Chief Sunday Dare.

The Africa CEO Forum, founded in 2012 by Jeune Afrique Media and co-hosted by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), is regarded as the continent’s largest annual gathering of private sector leaders, policymakers and investors.

The forum focuses on promoting economic transformation through regional integration, shared growth and cross-border investments across Africa.

This year’s edition is themed: “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.”

At the forum, President Tinubu is expected to speak on the topic: “Holding the Line: Nigeria’s Reform Bet in a Fractured World,” where he will outline the impact and benefits of ongoing economic reforms being implemented by his administration.

The President is also expected to hold high-level bilateral meetings with African and global business leaders as part of efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s economic partnerships and investment opportunities.

According to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu will use the summit to reaffirm Nigeria’s commitment to African unity, regional economic cooperation and private sector-driven sustainable development across the continent.
