There was pandemonium at Agip Junction, by Ada George Junction in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Thursday evening after a yet-to-be-identified police officer allegedly shot and killed a man, leaving three others injured.
The incident reportedly occurred after the deceased, who was driving a vehicle, allegedly failed to stop when flagged down by police officers on patrol around the junction.
Eyewitnesses, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Rismadarvoice reporter that one of the officers allegedly opened fire on the vehicle after the driver failed to stop.
The eyewitnesses said three other persons were injured during the incident and had been rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Our reporter and other newsmen who monitored the situation observed that police officers were present at the junction to prevent a breakdown of law and order following the incident.
The officers, however, later left the scene at about 7pm.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, ASP Agabe Blessing Karbolo, said she would make inquiries and get back.
Further details are expected as the police provide more information on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
