FC Robo Queens forward, Esther Onyenezide has expressed confidence that her team will deliver an even better performance when they face Rivers Angels in the quarter-finals of the President Federation Cup.
Onyenezide played a key role in Robo Queens’ impressive Round of 16 victory over Remo Stars Ladies, scoring two goals in the entertaining encounter.
Ajakaye Opeyemi also netted a brace, while Adegbuyi Oluwakemi added another goal as the Lagos-based side secured a 5-3 win against their opponents from Ikenne.
Following the victory, Robo Queens have been drawn against defending champions Rivers Angels in what is expected to be one of the standout fixtures of the quarter-final stage.

Reflecting on her performance against Remo Stars Ladies, Onyenezide expressed delight at contributing to her team’s success and emphasised their determination to raise their level in the next round.
The forward said she was pleased with her goals and credited the team’s collective effort for the important win.
She added that Robo Queens are focused on improving further as they prepare for the challenge of facing the reigning champions.
Robo Queens will now look to build on their attacking display against Remo Stars as they seek to upset Rivers Angels and secure a place in the semi-finals of Nigeria’s prestigious domestic cup competition.
