Liverpool have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of French forward Bradley Barcola in a deal that could rise to £123 million.
The Premier League club will pay an initial £106 million for the 23-year-old attacker, with a further £17 million available through performance-related add-ons.
Barcola is expected to undergo his medical examination this weekend before signing a long-term contract with Liverpool at Anfield.
The France international, who primarily operates from the left wing, joined Paris Saint-Germain from Lyon in 2023 for a reported £38.5 million and has since established himself as one of Europe’s promising attacking players.

His expected arrival could increase uncertainty over the future of Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City reportedly showing interest in the Netherlands international.
Liverpool have been looking to strengthen their attacking options following the departures of Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah in recent seasons, and Barcola has emerged as one of their main targets.
The French forward can also play on the right side or through the centre, providing additional attacking options for Liverpool, including cover for Alexander Isak while Hugo Ekitike recovers from a serious Achilles injury.
During his time at PSG, Barcola has won three Ligue 1 titles, two Champions League trophies, two French Cups, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
He also scored three goals for France during this summer’s World Cup tournament.
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola said he could not guarantee Gakpo’s future at the club but praised the forward’s performances and attitude since returning from the World Cup and holiday break.

Barcola’s transfer would represent a record fee for a player leaving Ligue 1, surpassing previous major departures from the French league.
PSG are also expected to benefit financially from the deal, having signed the player for around £38.5 million three years ago, potentially more than tripling their investment if all add-ons are achieved.
The move comes as Liverpool continue rebuilding their squad with a focus on adding young attacking talent capable of competing at domestic and European levels.
