Feed a Hungry Child with Briana Foundation (FAHCWB) has distributed educational materials to more than 100 pupils of Bebuabong Community Primary School in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State as part of its efforts to support children’s education and welfare.
During a follow-up outreach on July 2, the foundation donated notebooks, reasoning textbooks and pairs of socks to the pupils, while also engaging them in interactive sessions focused on ambition, confidence and kindness.
The foundation’s team also met with the school’s management to assess the impact of previous interventions and explore additional ways to strengthen support for the community.

Speaking after the outreach, the founder of FAHCWB, Barrister Briana Akpagu, described the visit as part of the foundation’s long-term commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children rather than a one-off intervention.
“This is not a one-time gesture. It is a relationship we are building, one visit at a time,” she said.
Akpagu reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to addressing the challenges of food insecurity, poverty, climate change and social injustice affecting women and children.
She stressed that every child deserves access to quality education without the burden of hunger or deprivation, adding that sustainable partnerships are essential to improving child welfare and community development.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to learn without hunger standing in the way, and every community deserves partners who remain committed beyond a single day,” she said.

The FAHCWB founder also called on individuals and organisations interested in supporting children’s education and wellbeing to partner with the foundation in expanding its impact across underserved communities.
