Chelsea have not received any official offer for Enzo Fernández after the club’s reported 5pm UK time deadline passed.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X on Friday, Chelsea had made a £120 million verbal exit figure available to Fernández’s representatives at the end of May.
However, that arrangement has now been withdrawn, with the reported deadline passing without any official bid being submitted for the Argentina international.
Chelsea have reportedly informed Fernández’s camp that the £120 million verbal exit clause is “now off the table”.
The development means any club still interested in signing the midfielder will have to negotiate directly with Chelsea rather than relying on the previously discussed figure.
Fernández joined Chelsea from Benfica in January 2023 and remains under contract with the London club.
The midfielder has since become an important part of Chelsea’s squad and has continued to feature prominently for the club.
With no official offer received before the deadline, Fernández remains a Chelsea player, and the reported £120 million verbal exit arrangement is no longer available to potential suitors.
