Dangote Refinery has once more cut its gantry petrol price nationwide, lowering it to N1,125 per litre from N1,175 per litre.
RISMADARVOICE gathered that Dangote Group’s spokesperson, Anthony Chijiena, confirmed the development on Thursday, noting that the refinery’s petrol gantry price had been slashed by N50 per litre.

“Our petrol gantry price was indeed reduced by N50 per litre,” Chijiena said.
The refinery’s coastal petrol supply price has also seen a corresponding drop, falling from N1,495,215 per metric tonne to N1,428,165 per metric tonne.
This latest reduction comes amid a significant decline in global crude oil prices, which have fallen to between $69 and $73 per barrel levels last seen before the Middle East crisis.
It will be recalled that on June 16, Dangote Refinery had reduced its gantry petrol price by N75 per litre, a move that subsequently led to a nationwide drop in retail fuel prices. With the latest cut, the refinery has now reduced its gantry price by a cumulative N125 per litre over the past two weeks, in line with easing global oil prices.
Retail fuel prices currently range between N1,241 and N1,305 per litre in Abuja and surrounding areas.

Despite the reductions, many Nigerians are pushing for retail prices to fall further, to between N800 and N900 per litre the rate that prevailed before the Iran-United States-Israel war escalated on February 28, 2026.
