Nigerian comedian and content creator, Carter Efe, has been permanently banned from TikTok following multiple violations of the platform’s community guidelines.
The ban, announced on Wednesday, effectively cuts off the entertainer from the short-form video platform, where he had amassed a significant following through comedy skits, music promotion and livestreams.
TikTok, in a notification to the content creator, said the account was permanently banned due to repeated breaches of its policies.
The platform stated, “Your account was permanently banned because of multiple policy violations.”
Carter Efe initially gained prominence through comedy content on social media before expanding into livestreaming and music.
