Manchester United’s struggles continued on Sunday as Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored to earn Leeds United a 1-1 Premier League draw at Elland Road.
Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring for United in the 35th minute, converting a cross from Youri Tielemans.
However, Calvert-Lewin equalised in the second half, denying Michael Carrick’s side a much-needed victory.
The result extended Manchester United’s winless run to six matches across competitions, increasing pressure on the team following an inconsistent start to the season.
Calvert-Lewin emerged as the standout performer, receiving an 8/10 rating in a post-match assessment for his physical presence and crucial equaliser.
Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford, defenders Nico Elvedi and Tarik Muharemović, and several Manchester United players received ratings of 7/10.
United goalkeeper Senne Lammens produced important saves, while Harry Maguire and Carlos Baleba were among the visitors’ stronger performers.
Lisandro Martínez was replaced at halftime by Noussair Mazraoui as Leeds increased the pressure after the interval.
Despite late opportunities for both sides, neither could find a winner, leaving Manchester United searching for their first victory in six matches.
