Galatasaray are expected to be without Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and midfielder Mario Lemina when they face Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
Both players are recovering from groin injuries that have kept them out of Galatasaray’s recent fixtures.
Osimhen and Lemina missed the club’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Sporting CP as well as their domestic league match against Kocaelispor.
According to Turkish football journalist Süleyman Rodop of Ajans1905, the duo could potentially feature against Trabzonspor with the aid of injections. However, Galatasaray are reportedly unwilling to take the risk with either player.

The decision is aimed at allowing both players to complete their recovery rather than aggravating their respective injuries by returning prematurely.
Osimhen’s absence would be a notable blow for Galatasaray, with the Nigerian forward playing a key role in the club’s attacking setup.
Despite the injury concerns, Galatasaray have made a strong start to their league campaign and currently lead the Turkish Super Lig standings with 13 points from five matches.
The club will hope to maintain its position at the top of the table when it takes on Trabzonspor.
