Liverpool Football Club will change its main shirt sponsor for the first time since 2010 after announcing a new five-year partnership with Turkish Airlines.
The agreement, which begins in June 2027, will see the Turkish carrier replace Standard Chartered as the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor from the 2027/28 season.
The financial details of the deal were not officially disclosed, although reports have valued the five-year agreement at more than £300 million.

Turkish Airlines’ branding will feature on the shirts of Liverpool’s men’s and women’s teams, as well as the club’s Academy, from the start of the 2027/28 campaign.
Standard Chartered, which has been Liverpool’s principal shirt sponsor since 2010, will not completely sever ties with the club.
Instead, the financial institution will move into a global partnership role after the conclusion of the 2026/27 season.
Liverpool chief commercial officer, Ben Latty, described the new agreement as a significant milestone for the club, noting the importance attached to the front of the famous red shirt.
“The front of the Liverpool shirt holds a special place in the history of our club,” Latty said, adding that Turkish Airlines’ international reach would provide a strong foundation for the partnership.
The new partnership also has a notable connection with one of Liverpool’s most memorable achievements.
Liverpool won the 2005 UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul, producing a remarkable comeback from 3-0 down against AC Milan before winning on penalties.

Turkish Airlines already has a strong presence in football. The airline is an official UEFA Champions League partner and also serves as the main sponsor of the Turkish national team.
If reports that the agreement is worth more than £300 million prove accurate, the deal would rank among the most valuable shirt sponsorship agreements in Premier League history.
Liverpool, however, has not officially confirmed the reported figure.
The partnership will formally take effect from June 2027, bringing an end to Standard Chartered’s 17-year run on the front of Liverpool’s shirt and ushering in a new commercial chapter for the club.
