FUBARA APPOINTS SIX NEW PERMANENT SECRETARIES

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointment of six new Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service as part of efforts to strengthen public administration and improve service delivery.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Freddy Ndigbara, Fortune Akpila, Promise Oguzie, Ibisoye Lolomari Nwankwo, Ibiyemiebara Joseph Uzoma, and Mercy Dagogo Iboroma.

The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the Head of Service, Dr Inyingi Brown, who said the appointments take immediate effect.

According to the statement, the new Permanent Secretaries will be formally sworn in by Governor Fubara at the State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt.

The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place shortly, after which the appointees will assume their respective responsibilities in the state’s civil service.

The appointments are expected to further strengthen the administrative capacity of the Rivers State Government and enhance the implementation of government policies and programmes.
