United States President, Donald Trump is scheduled to meet leading defence industry executives at the White House as his administration intensifies efforts to increase weapons production amid growing concerns over declining military stockpiles.
The planned meeting comes as the U.S. seeks to replenish inventories of critical munitions and defence systems following extensive military operations and continued support for allied nations involved in ongoing conflicts.
According to reports, the United States has supplied significant quantities of military equipment and ammunition to partner countries while also expending large volumes of precision-guided weapons and air-defence munitions in recent operations. These developments have raised concerns among defence officials about the readiness and sustainability of key weapons reserves.

The gathering will be the second high-level meeting between the White House and major defence contractors focused on expanding production capacity and accelerating the delivery of military equipment.
A similar meeting held in March brought together senior executives and representatives from some of the world’s largest defence companies, including BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, RTX Corporation, Boeing, Honeywell Aerospace and L3Harris Technologies, alongside Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Sources familiar with the discussions indicated that Pentagon officials are urging contractors to speed up implementation of production agreements reached earlier this year in response to increasing global security demands.

Demand for advanced air-defence systems and precision weapons has surged among the United States and its allies amid heightened geopolitical tensions and recent military engagements in the Middle East.
Defence analysts say expanding production lines has become a strategic priority for Washington as it seeks to maintain military readiness, support allies and address evolving security challenges around the world.
