Super Eagles winger, Philip Otele has arrived in Warsaw, Poland, to join Nigeria’s camp ahead of the international friendly match against the Polish national team.
Otele’s arrival brings the number of players available to head coach Éric Chelle to 21 as preparations intensify for the encounter.
The 27-year-old FC Basel star was part of Nigeria’s squad at the recent Unity Cup invitational tournament, where he featured in both matches. He recorded an assist in the Super Eagles’ emphatic 3-0 victory over Jamaica in the final.
Due to his late arrival in camp, Otele is expected to begin the match against Poland from the bench.
The winger has made three appearances for the Super Eagles since making his international debut against Jordan in March and will be looking to further strengthen his place in Chelle’s squad ahead of upcoming competitive fixtures.
