At least 10 people were taken to the hospital after a shooting broke out during a party near Arcadia Lake in Edmond on Sunday night, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m., according to Emily Ward, spokesperson for the Edmond Police Department, who confirmed the timeline during a press briefing.

Police said officers and emergency responders transported 10 victims to area hospitals with injuries described as varying in severity. Authorities added that the number of victims could rise as additional individuals sought medical treatment on their own.
In a statement posted to social media platform X, the department said: “The total number of victims is expected to change as additional individuals transported themselves to area hospitals. There is no update on the victim’s condition at this time.”
The shooting took place near Arcadia Lake (Oklahoma), a popular recreational area northeast of Oklahoma City often used for gatherings and outdoor events.
Police have not yet released information on a suspect or possible motive, and the investigation is ongoing. No fatalities have been confirmed at this stage.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward as detectives work to reconstruct what led to the violence at the gathering.
