The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has unveiled the next stage of its ongoing 2024/2025 recruitment process, directing candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 to verify their application status.
This was contained in a release issued by the Secretary to the Board, Major General A. M. Jibril (Rtd.), on June 13, 2026.
According to the Board, applicants are expected to check the recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to determine whether they have been shortlisted for the subsequent phase of the exercise.
Successful candidates will be required to log into the recruitment platform using their application numbers, upload the necessary credentials, and choose their preferred date and venue for physical screening and document verification.
The Board urged applicants to carefully follow all instructions provided on the portal to ensure a smooth screening process.
CDCFIB also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and warned candidates against making payments to any individual, group, or organisation claiming to offer assistance with shortlisting, document uploads, venue allocation, or final selection.
Applicants were further advised to disregard fraudulent recruitment messages and obtain information only from official CDCFIB communication channels and the designated recruitment portal.
