President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Bisoye Coker-Odusote, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Coker-Odusote’s leadership, describing her as a source of inspiration to young Nigerians, particularly women in public service.
Tinubu praised her innovative approach to strengthening identity data management in the country, noting that her efforts have enhanced access, reliability, and the integration of data into Nigeria’s national development planning.
The President also highlighted her diligence in compiling credible identity data, which he said continues to support effective planning and implementation of government programmes, especially in critical sectors such as security and infrastructure.
He further acknowledged her role in mobilising staff, fostering collaboration with relevant agencies, and deploying modern technologies to expand identity data capture, particularly in underserved rural communities.
President Tinubu encouraged the NIMC boss to sustain the current momentum, wishing her good health and continued strength in the years ahead.
