Vice President Kashim Shettima has reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to the development and empowerment of Nigerian youths, describing them as the lifeblood and driving force of the nation.
Shettima stated this on Thursday while receiving the leadership of the City Boy Movement on a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to the Vice President, many of the programmes and policies of the Tinubu administration are designed to benefit young Nigerians, noting that the President adopts modern and innovative approaches to address contemporary challenges.
He said President Tinubu remains committed to creating opportunities for youths and ensuring they play a central role in national development.
Shettima also expressed confidence in the administration’s reform agenda, describing Tinubu as a courageous leader willing to take difficult but necessary decisions for the long-term benefit of the country.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s programmes and policies are mostly in favour of Nigerian youths because he summons modern ideas to solve the problems of the 21st century,” he said.
The Vice President added that the administration would continue to support young people, in line with the President’s conviction that they remain critical to Nigeria’s future growth and prosperity.
He reiterated the government’s resolve to implement reforms aimed at strengthening the economy, expanding opportunities, and securing sustainable national development.
