Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) President Pedro Proença has expressed confidence that Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Portugal’s national team during the November international break.

Proença said the federation, coaching staff and players were looking forward to welcoming the Al-Nassr forward back into the squad for the country’s forthcoming international fixtures.

According to remarks attributed to him by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the FPF president indicated that there was a shared desire within the national team for Ronaldo’s return.

He also stated that the Portuguese captain was willing to rejoin the squad, expressing admiration for his achievements and longstanding contribution to the national team.

Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has represented Portugal for more than two decades and remains one of the most accomplished goalscorers in international football.

His anticipated return would provide Portugal with additional attacking experience as the national team prepares for its November engagements.

However, Proença’s comments represent an expectation rather than official confirmation of Ronaldo’s inclusion in the squad.

The final decision will depend on the national team’s selection process and the player’s availability when the squad is announced.
