A fatal train accident in Munich has left one person dead after two freight trains collided on a bridge, causing several rail cars to derail and plunge onto a roadway below.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday in the Milbertshofen district, located in the northern part of the Bavarian capital.
According to local authorities, the collision resulted in two freight wagons leaving the tracks and falling from the bridge onto the street beneath, triggering a major emergency response.
