Nollywood actress and social media influencer, Nimmy Ferrari, has died, reportedly just days before she was expected to celebrate the completion of her new home in Sagamu, Ogun State.
News of her death was announced by fellow actress Oluwakemisola Apesin, popularly known as Kemity, who mourned Ferrari in a post shared on social media.
“Everybody is back home; we left only you, IDERA Nimmyferrari. It is well,” Kemity wrote.
Ferrari’s immediate younger sister was also said to have confirmed her death following uncertainty surrounding earlier reports of her passing on social media.
The actress was reportedly preparing for a housewarming ceremony at her newly completed property in Sagamu before her death.
Videos circulating online appeared to show people gathered at the property, amid reports that preparations for her burial were already underway.
Ferrari had been building a following in the Nigerian entertainment industry through her acting career and activities on social media.
However, unverified reports circulating online have attributed her death to alleged complications from surgery for fibroids.
Neither her family nor any official source has publicly confirmed the reported cause of death.
The circumstances surrounding Ferrari’s death therefore remain unclear as colleagues, friends and fans continue to express shock and mourn the actress.
