Nollywood actress, Sandra Okunzuwa has revealed that romantic scenes in movies once led to the end of her relationship, highlighting that there are some serious emotional challenges and moments actors face while performing intimate roles on set.
Speaking during an interview on the BTS Reality Show, the actress said many people wrongly believe actors enjoy kissing scenes, whereas such moments are often uncomfortable due to the presence of crew members during filming.
According to her, actors usually perform romantic scenes professionally and without emotional attachment, adding that she would prefer such scenes removed entirely if audiences could still enjoy movies without them.
Sandra Okunzuwa explained that intimate movie roles sometimes create tension in relationships, especially when partners find it difficult to separate acting from real life.
She recalled an incident where her former boyfriend confronted her after receiving a video clip showing her kissing a fellow actor during a movie production.
The actress admitted that the experience was emotionally difficult and noted that she understands why some people may be uncomfortable dating actors because of the nature of the profession.
