Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has announced that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state have formally expressed support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Radda disclosed while speaking with journalists on Saturday during the party’s ongoing political exercise in his hometown, saying the development reflected the position of party members across wards and local government areas in the state.

According to the governor, the process witnessed broad participation from party faithful who turned out to reaffirm their support for President Tinubu as the APC’s preferred candidate for the next presidential election.
He described the exercise as an indication of internal cohesion within the ruling party and a demonstration of democratic participation at the grassroots level.
Radda said the turnout of supporters highlighted what he described as continued confidence in the APC leadership and the political direction of the party.
According to him, members used the exercise not only to participate in party activities but also to publicly endorse Tinubu’s potential second-term ambition.
The governor also rejected criticisms directed at the president, maintaining that Tinubu continues to enjoy considerable support among party members and residents of Katsina State.

He argued that the level of participation during the exercise reflected sustained confidence in the administration and the APC’s political structure.
Radda further expressed optimism about the party’s prospects in the 2027 elections, stating that the APC was well-positioned to perform strongly in contests across different levels of government.
The endorsement comes amid growing political activity and alignments within major political parties as preparations gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
