IGP VISITS EDO GOVT HOUSE, MEETS GOV OKPEBHOLO ON SECURITY

Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Edo State Government House in Benin City, where he held discussions with Governor Monday Okpebholo on security and policing reforms.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Edo State Government in tackling security challenges and improving community safety across the state.

During the visit, the IGP and the governor also discussed ongoing policing reforms and strategies aimed at enhancing public confidence in law enforcement.

IGP Disu reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to sustaining peace and security in Edo State through a closer partnership with the state government and other stakeholders.

The visit formed part of the IGP’s engagements in Edo State, where he also delivered a keynote lecture at the Rotary International District 9141 Conference.
