The Nigeria Customs Service has announced the commencement of physical screening and documentation for candidates shortlisted in its ongoing recruitment exercise.
According to a statement signed by the NCS National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada, on behalf of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, and the management team on Tuesday, the exercise will be conducted at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
The Service directed all successful candidates to appear at the venue on the date assigned to their respective states and cadres.
Candidates are required to present both original and photocopies of their National Identification Number, birth certificate or declaration of age, and relevant educational certificates, including O’Level, ND, HND, degree or other applicable qualifications.
They are also expected to provide a certificate of state of origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed guarantor’s form and an NYSC certificate, where applicable.
The NCS directed candidates to wear a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes for the physical screening exercise.
The Service stressed that attendance is compulsory, warning that candidates who fail to appear on their scheduled dates risk being disqualified from the recruitment process.
Successful candidates who complete the screening and documentation exercise will receive further information on the next stage of the recruitment process.
The Customs Service urged candidates to rely only on its official communication channels for information concerning the exercise, warning them to be cautious of unauthorised sources.
The Service also reaffirmed its commitment to conducting the recruitment exercise transparbased one basis of fairness and merit.
