At Elland Road, Leeds United and Brentford played out a 1-1 draw.
Brentford took the lead through Kevin Schade after a strong first-half performance, but Leeds responded after the break, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring the equaliser to earn his side a valuable point.
Calvert-Lewin’s goal made him the first Leeds player since Mark Viduka in 2004 to score in four consecutive Premier League appearances at Elland Road.
The weekend fixtures continued with Manchester United preparing to face Ipswich Town at Old Trafford, with Marcus Rashford named in the starting lineup as the club looked to recover from their opening-season defeat to Hull City.
The Premier League transfer window is also set to close on Tuesday, with clubs continuing final negotiations before the deadline.
