Former Big Brother Naija ‘Show Ya Sef’ housemate Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, has apologised for the actions that led to his disqualification from the reality show.

Keivo was disqualified following a physical altercation with fellow housemate Tram during the final week of the competition.

Speaking publicly about the incident for the first time, Keivo said he had reflected on his conduct and accepted responsibility for his actions.

“I’ve had some time to reflect on everything that happened, and I take full responsibility for my actions. My emotions took the best of me. Regardless of how strongly I felt, physical confrontation is never a solution to any situation,” he said.

Keivo also expressed gratitude to God, the organisers of the reality show, his family, friends and supporters for their support throughout his time in the house.

He particularly thanked those who prayed, voted and campaigned for him in the hope that he would reach the final.

“To my family, friends and supporters who worked tirelessly, prayed, voted, and stood by me with the hope of seeing me become a finalist, thank you,” he said.

Reflecting on his journey, Keivo said participating in the reality show gave him an opportunity to share his personality and story with millions of viewers.

“I came into Big Brother’s house hoping Nigerians would see who I am. I leave knowing that millions of people did,” he said.

The former housemate said he would use the experience as an opportunity for personal growth and pledged to learn from the incident as he moves forward.

He also prayed for “mercy, wisdom, grace, and strength” as he begins what he described as the next chapter of his life.

Keivo maintained that his disqualification would not end his ambitions, saying he intends to improve himself and continue pursuing opportunities beyond the reality show.

“I will learn, become better, and do my very best to make you proud of Keivo the Challenger, the Competitor, the man of many talents, the son of Grace, the VICTOR,” he said.
