Bayern Munich have played down reports linking French winger Michael Olise with a possible move to Real Madrid, insisting there are currently no discussions over a contract renewal or transfer.
Speculation surrounding the 24-year-old increased during the summer after reports suggested Olise had expressed a desire to play for the Spanish giants in the future.
Further reports claimed Real Madrid could be interested in making a major offer for the Bayern star, with figures of up to €150 million mentioned.
However, Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen said the club had not received any official approach from Real Madrid regarding the player.
Dreesen stated that there had been no “call, letter, or even fax” from the Spanish club over Olise’s availability.
Speaking after Bayern’s victory over Stuttgart, the club executive said there was no urgency to negotiate a new deal because Olise’s current contract runs until 2029.
“There are no negotiations at present. Michael has a contract until 2029, and therefore there is no reason to rush,” Dreesen said.
Bayern also dismissed the continued transfer rumours, pointing to Olise’s performances on the pitch as the main focus.
The French international played a key role as Bayern began their Bundesliga title defence with a 5-1 victory over Stuttgart, scoring the second goal in the match.
Olise joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace and has continued to establish himself as an important player in the German champions’ squad.
