The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has inaugurated Mabel Badejo-Okusanya as its 33rd President.
Badejo-Okusanya was sworn into office on Friday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, at a ceremony attended by senior members of the Bar and Bench and other dignitaries.
The oath of office was administered by her predecessor, Afam Osigwe, SAN, who subsequently formally handed over the leadership of the association to her.
During the ceremony, Osigwe presented Badejo-Okusanya with a handover note, expressing confidence in the transition.
The inauguration marks the commencement of Badejo-Okusanya’s tenure as President of the NBA.
