Arsenal are set for a busy final phase of the summer transfer window, with the Premier League champions reportedly agreeing deals to sell three first-team players as manager Mikel Arteta continues to reshape his squad.
The North London club have already overseen several departures in recent weeks, including Christian Norgaard, Jakub Kiwior, Leandro Trossard and Reiss Nelson, as Arsenal look to balance their squad following a major spending spree.
The Gunners have invested close to £200 million on new arrivals this summer, with Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis, Piero Hincapie and Ezri Konsa among the players brought in to strengthen Arteta’s squad.
Arsenal are now expected to recover part of their transfer spending through a series of late-window sales.
Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira is close to joining German club Hamburg in a deal worth around £7.7 million. Vieira, who joined Arsenal from Porto in 2022 for a reported £34 million, spent last season on loan in Germany, where he scored seven goals in 29 Bundesliga appearances.

Despite high expectations following his arrival, Vieira struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under Arteta, making only 47 appearances for Arsenal, with five Premier League starts.
Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli is also expected to leave the club, with Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal reportedly closing in on a deal worth about €65 million (£55.7 million).
If completed, the transfer would become Arsenal’s biggest-ever player sale, surpassing the £35 million fee received from Liverpool for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2017.
Arteta previously acknowledged the possibility of Martinelli’s departure, saying any decision would be reached with agreement from all parties involved.
Meanwhile, another Brazilian forward, Gabriel Jesus, is also nearing an exit from the Emirates Stadium. The 29-year-old striker is reportedly close to joining Barcelona in a deal worth around £8.5 million plus additional performance-related payments.
Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022 for £45 million and has recorded 32 goals and 22 assists in 123 appearances for the club. However, injuries and limited playing time in recent seasons have affected his role in Arteta’s plans.
The expected departures highlight Arsenal’s continued squad overhaul as the club aims to maintain competitiveness domestically and in European competitions while creating space for new additions.
