The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State has announced an adjustment to its party meeting schedule ahead of forthcoming internal party activities.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Patrick Edeke, the APC said the stakeholders’ meetings earlier scheduled across the 31 local government areas of the state would still hold as planned on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

However, the party disclosed that ward meetings previously fixed for Thursday, May 14, 2026, have been shifted to Friday, May 15, 2026.

According to the statement, the adjustment became necessary due to the House of Representatives primaries scheduled by the party.

The APC urged party stakeholders, ward executives, members, and supporters to take note of the revised timetable and ensure full compliance.

The party also expressed appreciation to members for their cooperation and commitment toward the successful conduct of its activities ahead of the primaries and the 2027 political process.
