Workers of the Federal Capital Territory Administration staged a protest at the National Industrial Court in Abuja today, as part of an ongoing total, indefinite strike over unresolved labour disputes.

The demonstration, supported by the Nigeria Labour Congress, comes amid persistent disagreements between the FCTA management and its workforce. Protesters carried placards with messages including “Pay promotion arrears”, “Enough is Enough”, and “No working tools”.

The NLC has reiterated its full support for the strike, describing it as justified in response to what it called repeated violations of workers’ rights by the FCTA leadership.

The industrial action continues as both parties are yet to reach an agreement, with workers insisting that their demands for fair treatment and proper working conditions be met.

Meanwhile, the FCTA management has not issued an official response, leaving the dispute unresolved.”
