The Federal Government has ordered the immediate enforcement of “No Work, No Pay” policy against members of Joint Health Sector Unions, JOHESU, and Assembly of Health Care Professionals participating in the ongoing strike.
The directive is contained in a circular issued on Saturday in Abuja by the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
It directs Chief Medical Directors and Medical Directors of federal hospitals to ensure strict compliance and maintain critical services using locum staff where necessary.
