Waking up on Saturday December 27, 2025, Mma Nsa E. Mbom, could not tell what 9am of the day holds for her, as usual, she headed to Etaha Itam Market (Popular Itam market) to sell her goods. Little did she know that it is her special day.
Mma Mbom who had an accident during Governor Umo Eno’s Campaign, now disabled has been striving with movement, yet still trading… what a plight for the poor woman.
Team Passion FM’s clean up in Itam Market as part of their Coperate Social Responsibility (to Mark the Akwa Ibom State wide Sanitation drew Akparawa Idorenyin Raphael’s attention to the Market.
According to Rapheal who is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Market Matters, no radio station has been spotted in any market which is his sector, performing clean up as part of CSR describing Passion Fm as a model in radio broadcasting in Akwa Ibom State.
He commended Passion FM, ADBN TV for such initiative while supporting the exercise with gift Items and cash splash, encouraging traders to advertise their businesses with the station/channel, stressing that Passion Fm have the traders in mind for good.
“As Traders, when you scratch our back, we scratch your back for support is reciprocal, that is why I encourage all traders to embrace Passion for all their advertisement”.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor presented an Award on behalf Young Africans in Leadership initiative (YALI ) to passion FM
He also gifted a bag of rice each to three winners of the Sanitation outing, selected by Passion Fm as they met the winning Criteria.
He noted that the gift is to encourage our youths to continue in good and healthy activities and initiative, to continually support passion FM which he said is not just the traders radio but the people’s radio.
On the Arise Agenda, Rapheal highlighted life touching projects executed by Governor Umo Eno.
“The Governor has fulfilled the promises he made to traders – that’s why Traders are solidly behind him, the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio and the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Governor in his first 100 days commissioned projects in Akpan Andem market, look around this Itam Market, the car pack is interlocked, the water/toilet facilities are all ready for commissioning.
Passion FM and YALI NETWORK Initiative appreciated Raphael; describing him as an Ambassador of human development and Community building, whose legacy are emulateable.
They noted that having such personalities is a blessing to humanity
