President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council to Rivers State on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for a rally ahead of the 2027 general election.
The event, organised under the Rainbow Coalition, is scheduled to take place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium along Airport Road, Port Harcourt, beginning at 10 a.m.
The Chairman of the coalition’s Publicity Sub-Committee, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, announced the arrangements in a statement issued in Port Harcourt.
According to Abe, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, who leads the Rainbow Coalition, has welcomed the planned visit of President Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima and members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
The welcome was extended to party officials, political stakeholders and other members of the presidential campaign delegation.
Abe said the coalition was preparing to receive the visiting delegation as part of its mobilisation activities ahead of the forthcoming elections.
He also invited members of the Rainbow Coalition and interested residents to attend the event.

The planned rally follows the coalition’s recent endorsement of Tinubu’s re-election bid and the unveiling of its preferred candidates for several elective positions in Rivers State.
The Rainbow Coalition brings together political figures and supporters from different parties, including the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, under a common political arrangement.
Wike had earlier announced plans for the presidential campaign rally during the coalition’s political gathering in October.
The November 7 event is also included in the APC’s nationwide presidential campaign timetable released in October.
Under the schedule, Tinubu is expected to participate in selected campaign rallies across the country while other party leaders represent him at additional engagements.
The Rivers gathering is expected to attract party officials, coalition members and supporters from different parts of the state.

However, the coalition’s announcement does not independently establish that the President will personally attend, and the final composition of the visiting delegation remains subject to confirmation.
Details concerning security arrangements, traffic management and access to the stadium have also not been publicly outlined.
The rally forms part of ongoing political activities by the APC and its allies as preparations intensify for the 2027 presidential election.
