The Airport Police Command has arraigned a 47-year-old man, Mark Agbor, over alleged impersonation and unauthorised access to restricted areas following a social media video in which he reportedly claimed ownership of two military combat helicopters.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Adeola, disclosed that the suspect allegedly offered one of the helicopters for sale through the online video.
According to the police, Agbor, an employee of Pathfinders International Limited, was transferred to the Airport Police Command’s International Division by the Provost Investigation Unit of the Nigerian Air Force in Ikeja for further investigation.
Adeola said preliminary findings indicated that the suspect posted the video on October 7, 2026, presenting himself as the owner of two military combat helicopters and suggesting that one was available for purchase.
The police said the claims raised security concerns and prompted an investigation into the suspect’s activities and alleged access to restricted facilities.

Following the investigation, Agbor was arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction. The matter was adjourned until November 18, 2026.
The Commissioner of Police, Airport Police Command, CP Ogunbode Olufunke, described the alleged conduct as a serious security concern, warning that impersonation and unauthorised activities around sensitive installations could compromise security operations.
She commended the cooperation between the Nigerian Air Force and the Airport Police Command, saying effective collaboration among security agencies remained essential to protecting critical national infrastructure.
Olufunke also advised companies operating within airport environments to strengthen employee screening, background checks and internal security procedures to prevent unauthorised access and related breaches.

The command reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining airport security, protecting lives and ensuring that individuals accused of security-related offences are dealt with in accordance with the law.
The allegations against Agbor remain subject to judicial determination, and no conviction has been announced.
