The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the schedule for its 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course across all camps nationwide.
According to the announcement, registration at orientation camps will begin on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, and close at midnight on Friday, June 12, 2026. The swearing-in ceremony is fixed for Monday, June 15, 2026, while the orientation exercise will conclude on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) have been directed to report to their assigned camps as indicated in their call-up letters, and foreign-trained graduates are required to present valid international passports and original uploaded documents upon arrival.

The scheme also reiterated key safety guidelines, urging PCMs to use only government-approved motor parks, avoid night travel after 6:00 pm, and seek shelter at military barracks, police stations, NYSC secretariats, or corps lodges when necessary. A distress hotline (6972) was also provided for emergencies.
The NYSC warned against fake documentation, noting that offenders will be handed over to law enforcement for prosecution under the NYSC Act. It also restated penalties for those who evade service or attempt to participate illegally.
Special consideration was given to married, pregnant, and nursing mothers, who may redeploy to their state of residence upon presentation of valid supporting documents.

The statement also listed orientation camps across all states and the FCT, where the exercise will take place.
The Director-General, Brigadier General O.O. Nafiu, wished all prospective corps members safe travel and a successful service year.
