The primaries, which recorded a significant turnout of party delegates and supporters, featured aspirants vying for various elective positions at both state and national levels.

Among the participants was senatorial aspirant for Zamfara Central, Mallam Wadatau Madawaki, alongside other contenders seeking tickets under the PDP platform.
Party faithful from across the state gathered to observe the exercise, which was conducted in an orderly manner and closely monitored by stakeholders.
At the end of the process, Madawaki emerged as the PDP flagbearer for Zamfara Central Senatorial District, a development that has been welcomed by party members who described it as a step toward stronger grassroots representation.
Other aspirants for state and National Assembly seats also presented their political agendas during the primaries, which party officials said reflected transparency and commitment to democratic principles.
