MDCN VISITS TOPFAITH UNIVERSITY ON ADVISORY MISSION

Topfaith University has received a delegation from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) led by the Deputy Registrar, Dr N. U. Nwakanma, on an advisory visit aimed at providing regulatory guidance for the advancement of medical education in the institution.

The visit formed part of the Council’s statutory responsibility to support and guide institutions offering medical and dental training in Nigeria, ensuring alignment with approved standards and best practices.

During the engagement, the MDCN delegation held discussions with the university management on key areas including academic development, infrastructure, capacity building, and institutional readiness for medical training.

The Council’s visit also provided an opportunity to assess ongoing efforts by the institution to strengthen its health sciences programmes and comply with national regulatory requirements.

Topfaith University described the engagement as part of its commitment to continuous improvement in medical education, noting that it remains focused on providing a learning environment that supports the growth and development of students.

The university reiterated its vision of producing competent healthcare professionals equipped with the knowledge and skills required for service and leadership in the health sector.

It added that strategic investments in academic systems, research, and infrastructure will continue to guide its pursuit of excellence in medical and health sciences education.
