Celebrity Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur, Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja over allegations of impersonating social media personality and activist, VeryDarkMan.

Blord was remanded on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, after being arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja on multiple charges, including impersonation and forgery.

According to information circulated on social media, VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse, alleged that Blord falsely claimed a business association with him. In a video posted online, Otse stated that Blord allegedly forged flight tickets bearing his name, announced that he would be travelling to Onitsha to participate in the launch of Blord’s Blunt Gadget App.

Otse further alleged that Blord claimed he had paid him ₦500 million to serve as a brand ambassador, that he had endorsed the BillPoint app, claims he strongly denied.

According to the activist, Blord also allegedly erected billboards and distributed promotional materials featuring his image, presenting him as an ambassador for the project without his consent.

“He printed a billboard with my face on it and claimed I was his ambassador without my permission. He also printed different fliers with my face on them claiming we had an agreement. All of these are false,” Otse said.

The court ordered that Blord be remanded for 26 days at the Kuje Correctional Centre pending further proceedings in the case.

The development has sparked widespread reactions across social media, with supporters and critics of both personalities weighing in on the allegations and the court’s decision to remand the cryptocurrency entrepreneur.
